Q. Where is your main store located?
A. Unfortunately, we do not yet have a store front. For now, you can find us at the farmers' market or at various cafes around the bay area.
Q. When is Donutello open?
A. Our farmers' market locations are typically open from 8AM to 12PM, but can vary based on location. Most of our vendors are open late, in case you want a late-night snack! Please check the locations page for more information.
Q. Does Donutello do custom orders?
A. Yes, we do! We are happy to make donuts for your wedding, birthday, or special occasion.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Q. How are your donuts different from other donuts?
A. Our donuts have a uniquely chewy, spongy texture, similar to Portuguese malasadas or Japanese mochi. The texture is a unique combination of cultures and is sure to be a delight to your taste buds.
Q. How do I store your donuts?
A. Our donuts are best kept at room temperature, and should ideally be eaten within 24 hours. Make sure to microwave your donut for 7-11 seconds for that delicious fresh taste!
Q. What are the allergens in your donuts?
A. All of our donuts contain milk, soy, wheat, and eggs. Our donuts also contain gelatin, which may not be suitable for some vegetarians.
Q. Are your donuts organic?
A. We use organic, sustainable ingredients wherever possible. We believe in creating a product that is harmonious with our natural environment and without taxing future generations.
Q. What are your donuts fried in?
A. Our donuts are fried in 100% RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil. The palm oil is free of trans fats, completely vegan, and non-GMO.
Q. Do your donuts contain preservatives?
A. Our donuts don't contain any artificial preservatives! There is absolutely no sodium benzoate, sorbate, nitrate, BHT, BTQ, TBHQ or anything of the sort!
Q. When and where are your donuts made?
A. All of our donuts are made daily at a certified commercial kitchen in Fremont. To ensure our donuts are the freshest possible, our vendors are only permitted to sell donuts produced that morning.
